Stop Children’s Cancer Holiday Traditions (holiday concert)

Description: A holiday concert at the Curtis M. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts featuring area youth choral and orchestra groups. The traditions continue under the direction of Professor Gary Langford, UF professor of music emeritus and conductor of the Alachua County Youth Orchestra. All proceeds benefit the local nonprofit Stop Children’s Cancer, which supports pediatric research at UF.

Danny’s Dream

Description: Dan DiNatale lost his battle to Ewing’s sarcoma on October 5, 2016, after a heroic battle of more than four years. While his dreams of being a graphic designer were cut short, Dan’s parents Chuck and Sue, created the Danny’s Dream event to fund Ewing’s sarcoma research to ensure that other children and young adults facing this disease are able to fulfill their dreams. Danny’s Dream will benefit the Danny Fund at UF and fund much needed research into this rare cancer.
