Cancer Research Conference for Science Teachers

Details: The University of Florida Health Cancer Center is hosting a free two-day conference highlighting current research and promoting cancer awareness, for Florida science teachers within our local community and surrounding counties. Participants will hear about leading–edge research taking place at UF and connect with scientists, physicians and students to engage in a dialogue about community health and well-being. Details: Dr. Robert Carroll of UF Health will give a presentation on the history of breast cancer and how we got to where we are today in research and treatments.

Memorial Cancer Institute’s Best of ASCO® 2018 Miami Symposium

Details: Come and visit UF Health Cancer Center at our booth at the Best of ASCO 2018 annual meeting in Miami. The goal of this educational session is to incorporate recent advances in the treatment of cancer into clinical practice. National and International faculty will review state of the art developments in hematology, oncology, surgical oncology and radiation oncology. Participants will have the opportunity for audience interaction with the faculty.
