On Nov. 7, 2018, at 12 p.m. and 5 p.m., Jonathan D. Licht, M.D., director of the UF Health Cancer Center and Marshall E. Rinker, Sr. Foundation and David B. & Leighan R. Rinker Chair in the UF College of Medicine, presented at a UFHCC Town Hall meeting. During the Town Hall, Dr. Licht updated Cancer Center members on the center’s progress toward National Cancer Institute designation. The meeting was also an opportunity for cancer researchers across campus to learn more about the UFHCC’s resources and recent achievements.
