Cancer Center Website Migrates to Apollo 2
We got a makeover! Our new website is officially live, so check it out here.
UF Health Web Services launched Apollo 2 on Feb. 26, 2019, at a special event held for website administrators and editors. It brings tremendous improvements to the design and function of UF Health websites.
The Apollo 2 UF Health WordPress theme brings new life to the website with vivid colors and minimalistic design elements. In addition, more visually pleasing graphics allow for easier reading and navigation.

Features include “automagic” menus, new dashboard widgets, a new and improved search engine, better mobile design, directory integration and a visual global footer, complete with a small navigational menu, a donation button and more.
For example, this page uses the cards feature, which allows designers to lay out information in a more cohesive and visually pleasing way. This page uses the flip-flop function to stagger items and add dimension to the page.

Please be aware that we have a new extramural funding table that we will be keeping up-to-date with new funding opportunities. Also, here you can find the new Members tab, where you can find a directory and resources and those who are interested in becoming a member can find the application.
The UF Health Web Services team is working hard to provide more features soon, including textures and animations, UF and UF Health stock photo libraries, easy integration UFHealth.org blocks, light mode and more. Technical issues and enhancements are still being adjusted and developed so keep an eye open for announcements about the new features in newsletters and user-conference meetings.
Web Service’s next project is an upgrade to our patient-facing sister site, UFHealth.org, which is anticipated to launch next year.
Now that we’ve launched, if you see content on our website that needs to be corrected or updated, please email communications@cancer.ufl.edu.
