Event Recap
Cedar Key Chamber hosts biggest Workout on the Waterfront so far
Cedar Key’s Workout on the Waterfront (WoW) is an annual community and environmental health event started by the UF IFAS Nature Coast Biological station in 2016. Around 120 residents and visitors attended the Third Annual Workout on the Waterfront to fundraise for the Cedar Key School, Children’s Table of Levy County and the annual Cedar Key International Coastal Cleanup. This year the event was hosted by the Cedar Key Chamber of Commerce and consisted of four races: a 1K Bow-Wow dog walk, a 5K walk-run, a kayak race, and a repurpose-it-regatta with vessels made from recycled materials.
